“Best are the minced kebabs; the spiced lamb sheekh and chicken sibling which we tear apart with hands, douse with the chilli sauce and load on to the flatbread below that have soaked up the good bits.”

Foodie Family Blog, Roz Goodgame
Roz and her husband both ordered their mains from our Charcoal Grill menu during their visit. Roz picked the Sarma Beyti. Her husband, Lee, chose the Yogurtlu Kuzu Kebab.

“The sauce [from the Sarma Beyti] was so rich and packed full of flavour, as was the minced chicken kebab meat and this along with the huge dollops of cooling yoghurt and scattering of sweet pomegranate seeds made a really delicious main course.”

Lee also clearly enjoyed his choice, judging by Roz’s account:
“You can always tell when Lee really likes something as he goes all silent and this was definitely one of these times!”

Bite Your Brum, Laura Casewell
Laura from Bite Your Brum and her dining partner chose our ‘Chef’s Special’ Turkish mix grill to share for their main event at Cappadocia. It included a mix lamb shish and chicken shish, Adana kofte, chicken wings and lamb ribs – all cooked on a charcoal grill.

Here’s how Laura described it:

“A bountiful platter for two… Tender and juicy, the lamb [shish] was naturally tasty and melted in the mouth…the quality of the meat used was clear. Next up was the chicken shish which, again, was succulent and juicy…Two great examples of shish which had contrasting flavours ensuring maximum happy noises.”
